I’m sailing to Australia
In a cardboard box
But since I don’t have any sails
I’m using my old socks.
I’ve tied them all together,
So they may catch the breeze
And since I’ve used ten long pairs
I’ll be traveling with ease.
According to my calculations
I’ll reach Australia by one.
Just in time to have some fun
Under the outback sun.
I’ll find a mama kangaroo
And I will hide inside
Her comfortable baby pouch
To have a bouncy ride.
Since it’s bad luck to have
A ship without a name,
I’ve named my box something I love –
“Video Game”
So I’m sailing off on “Video Game”
I’m leaving here by noon.
So I can make it back by three
To watch my favorite cartoon.
That’s so whimsical!
